Starting in September, Muffin Mondays are going back indoors. On Monday, September 21, we will meet at Hillside Covenant Church at 2060 Magnolia Way, Walnut Creek. We will enjoy the various kinds of homemade muffins and the same or better conversations. If you haven't had a chance to laugh for a while, you may want to join us and be prepared to laugh. Last time I checked, laughing is good for mental health as it reduces stress hormones and triggers the release of endorphins, dopamine, and serotonin. These natural chemicals elevate your mood, increase your energy, and combat feelings of anxiety or sadness.
