We will have another well experienced yoga teacher teaching us in September while Maxine Younger is taking some time off with her family. Our new teacher is Diane Valentine who was Maxine's yoga teacher when she started. We are in good hands. 

 

Diane Valentine is Diablo magazine's Best Yoga Instructor in 2010. She is the director of The Yoga & Movement Center, where she teaches weekly classes and leads workshops in Iyengar-based yoga, Restorative Yoga and Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lessons. As Diane was heading into her semi-retirement journey, she was looking for something that she could use her knowledge and experience to help others. She found that Mt. Diablo Village was the right fit, especially when Maxine Younger was already here.

 

Maxine has been the biggest cheerleader of Mt. Diablo Village since the formative months. I am grateful that we have such high quality yoga teacher supporting us. 

 

We know yoga has a lot of benefits in our health and balance. Let us take full advantage of the classes and become our younger selves again.
