Course Summary: We will break down the two main paths consumers have today: over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription (Rx) hearing aids – who they’re for, how they’re fitted, what they cost, and perhaps most importantly, who’s going to help when things don’t go exactly has planned. At the end of the day, it’s not really about OTC vs prescription = good vs better. It’s about being well informed to finding the right solution for you.

Bio: Dr. Kristina Petraitis is passionate about simplifying the hearing journey, supporting providers, and helping people feel confident in their care decisions. Her career started in Australia as a nurse before transitioning into audiology and building her experience across the U.S. in clinical care, sales leadership, and training. That journey has given her a well-rounded perspective across patient care, business strategy, and industry innovation. Dr. Petraitis cares deeply about what Soundly does and brings a strong foundation in clinical, industry, and always patient-centric thinking.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find her traveling, spending time outdoors, cooking, or feeding her slight addiction to triathlon training.
