We know gas and other prices went up significantly in front of our eyes. For some, the changes will mean they have to tighten their belts on food.
Caitlin Sly, CEO of Food Bank Contra Costa and Solano, will be giving a presentation from her vintage point about recent trends in Contra Costa County. She will also share with us what she and her Food Bank team are seeing with regards to food insecurity policy updates and what they are doing to affect change.
Mt. Diablo Village is committed to do a part to make it a little bit easier to help fight hunger in Contra Costa County. We will be helping sort food donations at Food Bank's Concord facility on October 29. Please see a separate event item to sign up.
