Ruth Bancroft Garden is a gem in the middle of Walnut Creek. It's not too big and you can have a comfortable and enjoyable walk in the garden and appreciate all the plants within an hour. You may need more time if you would like to learn, appreciate and connect with some of the plants on display.
What will deepen and enhance our learning is to have a docent telling us everything about the garden. That's exactly what we are going to do on Friday, October 23, at 1 p.m.
We are grateful for a very kind individual who generously donated 15 tickets for a guided tour at Ruth Bancroft Garen. These tickets are for Mt. Diablo Village members only. If we have more than 15 people signed up for the event, we will start a waiting list. Cut off time for registration will be at 2 p.m. on October 22.
