Chinese medicine has been steadily gaining attention in the Western world in the last several decades. We are fortunate to have an opportunity to learn directly from the best of the best at our Lunch and Learn on November 20.
Dr. Tu graduated from medical school in Tianjin, China and started practicing Western medicine in China in 1958 and later integrated Chinese medicine and acupuncture in her practice. She came to America in 1980 and brought with her a wealth of knowledge of Western and Chinese medicine and clinical practices.
Dr. Angela Tu (ret.) is a prominent figure in the Traditional Chinese Medicine practice with over 50 years of clinical experience. She was instrumental in setting the professional standard in the practice of Chinese medicine in America. She was the Founder and Chair of the Board of National Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Organizations which was established in 2004. She was also the Founding member, and vice-chair of World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies in 2003.
In her presentation on November 20, Dr. Tu will share with us the concept of wellness in Chinese medicine, what influences your well being, and practices to maintain it. It's simple and practical. It's not to be missed.
